GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Retention of Title:
Goods supplied remain the property of CV Plus until full payment is made. CV Plus reserves the right to reclaim the goods from the buyer's premises if the invoice is not paid according to the terms of the contract, nevertheless the goods shall be at the risk of the buyer from the time of delivery.
2. Returns
All returns must be sent to us at Unit 40/1 Commercial Road, Highett, Melbourne Victoria, 3190 for under warranty service. All brands are subject to the warranty terms of the manufacturers or Importers of these products.
To claim service under warranty:
The product must be returned with proof of purchase within the warranty period, it must be in original condition, not modified or mistreated in any way and it must not have been serviced elsewhere.
To claim replacement:
Replacement of new products that are damaged on delivery, or faulty from new requires a proof of purchase by the operator of the product, it must be within 14 days of purchase date, and be in original condition with undamaged packaging and be returned with all accessories included.
To claim a credit or refund:
Incorrectly supplied products will be credited when goods are returned. Credit authorization requires notification of credit claim within 7 days of delivery.
Credit for products not required:
Goods supplied that have been incorrectly ordered or are not required by the customer may, at the discretion of CV Plus, be credited less a 20% restocking fee.
Procedure for returning products:
Customers can contact CV Plus for a Return Authority Reference (RAR) number. When returning product, please provide us with that number and detail of the service required. The request and the product is reviewed by CV Plus.
The RAR number is used to trace your product from when you send it to us until we return it to you. The RAR number must be printed on the outside of the carton, which you can deliver or send freight prepaid to our address. CV Plus aims to service and return products within 14 (fourteen) days from receipt of the product from the customer. Where a product for replacement is not in stock, this process can take longer.
After a product is serviced under warranty, it is returned to you with CV Plus repaying the return freight cost. Out of warranty delivery is at the customers expense.
CV Plus may at its own discretion, provide a Service Exchange item.
3. Cancellation of Orders
Cancellation of orders will not be accepted unless by prior agreement, and then on terms that will compensate CV Plus for the cost of cancellation.
4. Special Orders:
Special orders are goods specially bought in on customers request. Special orders consist of:
a. Non stock items
(Note: Delays may occur due to events such as supplier delays)
b. Orders for bulk quantities
Bulk orders require that a customer accepts the price quoted, and estimated delivery date. If the total price exceeds the customers credit limit, payment upon order is required. After acceptance of the quote by the customer Special Orders cannot be cancelled or the goods returned unless the CVPlus supplier agrees to order cancellation and return of the goods.
6. Backorders:
The unsupplied items on an order will be backordered if the customer requests it. The back order portion of orders will normally be dispatched freight free unless;
(a) The entire order is backordered, in this case freight will be charged and prepaid before the backorder is sent.
(b) In the opinion of CV Plus, the freight cost on the back ordered portion of the order is substantial, in this case the full freight will be charged up front, and the backorder will be sent freight prepaid.
7. Freight:
Prices quoted are ex-Store and delivery costs are pre-payable by the purchaser. CV Plus delivers goods via road freight to all destinations in Australia. This method will automatically be selected unless you choose another method. Customers with specific carrier choice and special delivery instructions must clearly state these on orders.
Transport methods include:
Road Freight and Post (Australia Wide)
COD Customers:
Freight is to be included in payment and itemised on invoice. All COD orders will be charged based on our COD Freight Rates.
Melbourne Metropolitan Customers only:
Melbourne destinations are defined using the criteria set out by our chosen freight forwarder.
8. Liability
CV Plus makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the suitability or replacement of its products for any particular purpose, nor does CV Plus assume any liability arising from the application or use of any product, including consequential or incidental damage or injury. All operating parameters must be validated by the customers technical experts.
9. Privacy Policy:
CV Plus collects information from suppliers and customers that is necessary to adequately conduct business. Credit information for accounts 60 days or more overdue may be disclosed to a credit reporting agency. We do not use any personal information we have collected for any other purpose without seeking the individuals consent first.
